  15. A couple weeks ago Axiom sent me some junk mail
  16. about getting an upgrade from Pixel 3D 2 to the
  17. current Pixel 3D Pro.

  19. I believe the policy of Axiom is that they will
  20. develop no new Amiga software, but they're 
  21. still more than happy to sell their existing 
  22. products.

  24. Amiga product tech support at ASDG last month
  25. assured me that there would be updates to 
  26. ADPro and MorphPlus shortly. (I know "shortly"
  27. is a very relative statement.)

  29. ASDG/Elastic Reality has reduced the development 
  30. effort of their Amiga programs, but there still
  31. will be updates and Amiga Tech Support (while it 
  32. is now available only 3 hours in mid-day) still
  33. exists. (There was a post on a newsgroup a couple
  34. weeks ago where ASDG was trying to unload a lot
  35. of their Amiga hardware -- at fairly unreasonable
  36. prices.)

  38. ASDG/ER Amiga Tech Support (while it *does* exist) 
  39. is now extremely pathetic.  I called and talked to
  40. someone namesd Curtis about a problem I had with
  41. MorphPlus.  I had previously mailed a set of files
  42. to them.  Curtis said he'd look into it and email 
  43. me right back whether or not they got the files.  
  44. Over the past couple weeks I've tried to call 
  45. Curtis, but he's never "available" and I've sent 
  46. email, but I never get any sort of response.  If
  47. I was making a living with their software I'd be
  48. really pissed off.

  50. So, I'm beginning to consider getting ImageFX.

  52. In any case, neither company is out of business or
  53. has *completely* abandoned the Amiga market, so 
  54. considering their products as PD stuff is still 
  55. theft.
